Taxi Monastir Airport to Tunis, Hammamet and Beyond

Land at MIR and go. A licensed driver meets you in arrivals, loads the bags and drives you anywhere in Tunisia for a price fixed before you fly.

Fixed price in 30 seconds, instant confirmation

A taxi Monastir airport booking is the simplest way to leave MIR. The terminal is small, the rank gets busy in season, and the kerbside price depends on which car you happen to flag down. Book ahead and none of that matters: your driver is already inside, holding a sign with your name.

We run a taxi Monastir airport service to every part of the country, but two routes dominate the bookings: the long haul north to Tunis and the coastal run to Hammamet. Each one gets its own fixed price, its own vehicle choice and its own section below.

What Your Taxi Monastir Airport Booking Covers

The same standard whether you ride 8 km or 160. Your Monastir airport taxi includes the arrivals meet, flight tracking, free waiting time and luggage help at no extra cost. The price agreed before departure is the final price.

Meet and greet

Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with your name on a sign. The Skanes terminal is compact, so you spot him fast.

Flight tracking

We watch your flight number. Charter delays are normal here and they never cost you extra.

Free waiting

Waiting time after landing is included, which covers passport queues and slow baggage belts.

Luggage handled

Cases, buggies, golf bags and dive kit go in the boot, not on your lap. Tell us the load when you book.

One fixed price

The fare is agreed before you travel. No meter, no per-bag charge, no late-night markup.

Four languages

Our drivers work in French, English, German and Italian, the languages most MIR passengers arrive with.

Main routes

The two routes we drive most

Monastir (MIR) to Tunis

Monastir Airport to Tunis

This is the long one. The A1 motorway runs almost the whole way, so the drive is steady rather than scenic. You leave the Sahel, pass Enfidha and Hammamet on your right, and reach the capital in about two hours. Most people booking this route are heading to a meeting, a connecting flight at Tunis-Carthage, or a hotel in the city centre.

Good to know on this route

  • We drop at Tunis-Carthage airport, the medina, Les Berges du Lac and the business districts.
  • Allow extra time for the last 15 km. Traffic into Tunis is heavy from 07:00 to 09:00 and 16:00 to 19:00.
  • Connecting to an international flight? Give us the departure time and we set the pickup backwards from it.
  • There is one motorway toll on the way, and it is included in your fixed price.
Monastir (MIR) to Hammamet
Distance
~115 km

Monastir Airport to Hammamet

Different trip, different mood. Hammamet is a holiday arrival: families, couples and groups stepping off charter flights with a week booked at a resort. The road runs up the coast and turns inland near Enfidha. The last stretch into Yasmine Hammamet is slow, because the hotel zone sits along one long avenue and everyone is looking for the same turning.

Where we drop you

  • Yasmine Hammamet, the marina and the resort strip.
  • Hammamet centre, the medina and the beach hotels.
  • Hammamet South, Mrezga and the apartment rentals.
  • Nabeul, if your booking sits on that side of the bay.

Travelling as a group? A minivan works out cheaper than two sedans on this route.

Vehicles

Choose the car before you land

Priced per vehicle, not per seat. Take the sedan for a couple, the estate when luggage is bulky, or the minivan for a family or a group. Every car is air conditioned, insured and driven by a licensed driver.

Sedan

Luxury sedan

Questions about MIR and both routes

Grouped so you can skip to the part that applies to you, whether you are heading to Tunis, Hammamet or somewhere else. Waiting time, luggage, payment and night flights are covered here. Still unsure? Message us on WhatsApp.

About the airport

Where do I find my driver at Monastir airport?

In the arrivals hall, past baggage reclaim. He holds a sign with your name. The terminal is small, so there is nowhere to get lost.

What is the difference between yellow and white taxis?

Yellow taxis are the standard metered cars, roughly 0.9 TND per km. White taxis are tourist cars, more comfortable, around 1.35 TND per km. A prebooked transfer skips both meters with a set price.

Do you cover night flights?

Yes, at any hour. Our fixed price does not change overnight, unlike a metered taxi.

The Tunis route

How long does Monastir airport to Tunis take?

About two hours on the A1, longer if you arrive during the morning or evening rush into the capital.

How much is a taxi from Monastir airport to Tunis?

It starts at 75 € per vehicle and depends on the car you pick. The motorway toll is included.

Can you take me to Tunis-Carthage airport for a connection?

Yes, this is one of our most booked runs. Give us your departure time and we build the pickup around it.

The Hammamet route

Around 115 km, which is roughly an hour and a half of driving. Yasmine Hammamet is a few minutes further than the town centre.
